ANALYSIS: I guess when you have LeBron James playing for your side you're inevitably going to fall on some lucky Ws throughout the regular season. That said, the Lakers suck and there is nothing too crazy about thinking they could still miss the play-in standing just 3.5 above no. 11 seed San Antonio through Friday. One of the pieces kinda working for the Lake Show of late has been a surprising and now-starter Malik Monk, who's been on a tear in the month of March building on a good February that set his current foundation.
Monk started seven games between Jan. 27 and Feb. 9, all of them consecutively and averaging a dreamy 18-4-4 per-game line in a bulky 33 MPG in that stretch. Monk came back to the pine for a couple of times after the break, he sucked a lot, so Los Angeles came back to Starter Monk and it's worked wonders for him. Mon has now strung six starts since Mar. 1 and is again getting 34 MPG while putting up numbers: 16-4-3-1 is the per-game average and he's also hitting shots with gusto (3.1 3PM per game, at least one trey in all last six games, and an overall 49.3% shooting percentage from the field on more than palatable 13+ FGA a day).
While Monk is a bit shaky on the turnover department (1.3+ on the season, 1.6+ TOPG in the past month of play) the truth is that he makes up for it with good rebounding and diming for someone manning the SG position and handling the ball on very limited possessions with the likes of Russ and Bron around. Monk is one of only 14 players hitting 40% of his triples while attempting at least 5.7 3PA per game. The minutes can't get higher, the shooting splits are phenomenal, and Monk also comes with a little nice upside on steals posting 0.8 SPG on the season and 1.5 in the last six games.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
