Xavier Worthy NFL Draft Prediction
ROUND PREDICTION: Second Round (No. 33 Overall Pick)
TEAM PREDICTION: Carolina Panthers
DRAFT ANALYSIS: No doubt the 2023 season was a complete disaster for the Panthers and their fan base, but they have no other option than to forge ahead and build around QB Bryce Young after giving up a small fortune. In the football world, it's about playing the hand you're dealt. The smart move for Carolina is to go offensive line or wide receiver to help its quarterback.
Xavier Worthy broke the 40-yard dash record at the NFL Combine with a 4.21. Don't let the speed distract you. Worthy is a very good WR who happens to be fast. The only real knock on him at this point is his size: 5-foot-11 and just 165 pounds. With how well prospects like Tank Dell and DeVonta Smith have translated to the NFL of late, undersized WRs are making waves more than ever. Think DeSean Jackson in today's era versus 15 years ago. That's the type of home run potential Worthy has.

Ladd McConkey NFL Draft Prediction
ROUND PREDICTION: Second Round (No. 48 Overall Pick)
TEAM PREDICTION: Chicago Bears (via Jacksonville Jaguars)
DRAFT ANALYSIS: After passing on a wide receiver at ninth overall and opting to trade back instead, the Bears land Ladd McConkey here. How long will WR Keenan Allen remain in Chicago? With all the top offensive linemen gone, they opt to surround QB Caleb Williams with as many weapons as possible.
McConkey has dealt with some injuries in the past but features a different type of skill set where he could be lethal as the WR3 in this offense.
Xavier Legette NFL Draft Prediction
ROUND PREDICTION: Second Round (No. 50 Overall Pick)
TEAM PREDICTION: Philadelphia Eagles
DRAFT ANALYSIS: There's talk of Philadelphia potentially moving WR DeVonta Smith inside. Enter Xavier Legette, who is a physical freak in his own right and would likely thrive with two stars ahead of him. The Eagles' depth chart at wide receiver is incredibly top-heavy, and they should take advantage of the depth at WR in this class to help shore up the room.

The range of outcomes for Legette in mock drafts is a wide one. He had a slow start to his college career but blew up in Year 5 with 71 receptions for 1,255 yards and five TDs. Some scouts have been asking the hard question: what took him so long?
