The 2024 NFL Draft is less than a week away. Everyone knows the Chicago Bears will select Caleb Williams with the first overall pick. However, the uncertainty starts after the first selection.
Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, and J.J. McCarthy will be top 10 picks, potentially coming off the board in the top five. Meanwhile, Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr. are potential first-round picks.
However, the quarterback class doesn’t end after the top six guys. Let’s dive into the NFL Draft outlook for Spencer Rattler, Michael Pratt, and Joe Milton III.

Spencer Rattler Draft Outlook
After losing the starting role to Williams at Oklahoma, Rattler transferred to South Carolina. He had a solid two-year run with the Gamecocks, totaling 6,2,12 passing yards and 37 touchdowns in 25 games. Rattler doesn’t have the elite traits like the six potential first-round quarterbacks. However, many NFL scouts describe him as tough and not to be doubted. Reportedly, multiple teams view him as a late second-round pick. His draft floor is likely with the New York Giants or Atlanta Falcons at the top of the third round.
South Carolina QB Spencer Rattler remains an intriguing prospect as a Round 2 pick. Team quarterback rankings vary, and in some cases, Rattler is ranked higher than expected.

Michael Pratt Draft Outlook
Most quarterbacks end up transferring at least once during their college career. However, Pratt played all four years at Tulane. He didn’t put up eye-popping numbers, never totaling more than 27 passing touchdowns in a season. Yet, Pratt ended his college career with 9,611 passing yards and 90 touchdowns compared to 26 interceptions in 46 games. NFL teams don’t consider him as a franchise-caliber quarterback. Instead, Pratt is likely a late Day 2 or early Day 3 selection that teams view as a 10-year veteran backup.
Tulane QB Michael Pratt, who visited the #Browns and #Jets this week, has had eight total visits and private workouts since the combine, among other interest. A potential Day 2-early Day 3 target who threw for 9,603 yards and 90 TDs with the Green Wave.pic.twitter.com/u0rcFhpYV4

Joe Milton III Draft Outlook
There isn’t a bigger wild-card quarterback in the draft class than Milton. The former Tennessee star must improve his mechanics, ability to read defenses, and decision-making. However, Milton has a cannon for an arm and might have the best arm in the NFL the moment he gets drafted. Someone will draft him late on Day 3 in the sixth or seventh round because of the arm talent. Meanwhile, some NFL teams believe he will eventually have to move to tight end to stay in the league.
