The 2024 NFL Draft is less than a month away. While everyone focuses on the quarterback class and the first round, the draft isn’t over after Thursday night.
NFL teams win or lose the draft depending on what they do in the middle and late rounds. Last year, Puka Nacua didn’t get any top-100 consideration, let alone first-round talk. Yet, the former BYU star broke two rookie receiving records and made the Pro Bowl as a fifth-round pick.
Let’s look at four late-round NFL Draft sleepers who will get selected on Day 3 but could shine as rookies.

Isaac Guerendo – Louisville
There isn’t an elite prospect in this draft class, meaning every team will have a different set of running back rankings. While Guerendo has no chance of being the first running back drafted, the Louisville star might be this year’s Dameon Pierce. He will be a Day 3 selection but could shine as a rookie. Guerendo is a bigger running back who can plow through defenders, averaging over four yards after contact per attempt in 2023. Yet, he can break off long touchdown runs.

Anthony Gould – Oregon State
While the top slot receivers in this draft class include Malachi Corley and Ricky Pearsall, don’t forget about Gould. The Oregon State star weighed under 175 pounds at the NFL Combine, making him one of the smaller wide receivers in the draft. Yet, he has an impressive ability to separate in his routes. Furthermore, Gould can elevate a special teams unit as a rookie after totaling two touchdowns on 26 career punt returns in college.
Gabe Hall – Baylor
Hall was a three-star recruit coming out of high school but had high expectations at Baylor. The defensive lineman had only 11.5 sacks in college but flashed significant upside. More importantly, Hall had an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl last month, measuring 6-foot-6 with nearly 35-inch arms. He won several one-on-one reps throughout the week of practice.
Baylor DT Gabe Hall measured in around 6’6”, 290, with 34 3/8” arms yesterday.
Won virtually every one of his 1-on-1 reps. Led out with a couple quick, violent swims, then a swipe-rip, and then a push-pull.
Explosive, powerful, tenacious lineman with ideal measurements.

Khyree Jackson – Oregon
Fans should expect at least four cornerbacks to come off the board in the first round of the NFL Draft. While Jackson won’t be one of those players, the Oregon star could sneak into Day 2. Despite measuring 6-foot-4 at the NFL Combine, Jackson ran a solid 4.5 40-yard dash in Indianapolis. Some teams think he’s best suited to move to safety in the NFL. Regardless of where he lines up, Jackson should make an impact as a rookie.
