2024 NFL Draft - Dylan Laube, Bucky Irving, Will Shipley NFL Draft Outlooks and Best Team Fits

Bucky Irving - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

2024 NFL Draft outlooks for Dylan Laube, Bucky Irving, Will Shipley. What round will Laube, Irving, and Shipley be drafted in, and which NFL teams are good fits? Read their 2024 NFL Draft outlooks.

Will Shipley NFL Draft Prediction

ROUND PREDICTION: Fifth Round

BEST TEAM FITS: New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers

PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Shipley is the best receiving back in this class. Depending on his landing spot, he could immediately carve out a role as a pass-catching specialist.

He does lack strength and his pass protection needs work. These flaws could limit his upside. However, if he can improve in these areas, Shipley has the prerequisite skills to emerge as a lead back in the right situation.

Dylan Laube NFL Draft Prediction

ROUND PREDICTION: Fifth Round

BEST TEAM FITS: Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, Carolina Panthers

PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Laube can emerge as an NFL passing-down specialist right away after posting 117 receptions over the last two seasons. Laube is also a better between-the-tackles runner than some think.  Lacking the same explosion as Shipley, it might be difficult for Laube to emerge as a starter.

In an ideal scenario, the former New Hampshire Wildcat will become a Danny Woodhead/James White type of player who sticks around and provides value to an organization.

Bucky Irving NFL Draft Prediction

ROUND PREDICTION: Fifth Round

BEST TEAM FITS: New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers

PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Given the success of smaller backs like Jahmyr Gibbs and Keaton Mitchell in the NFL, Irving's skill set, especially in outside zone runs and pin-pull concepts, aligns well with the current trend. His exceptional vision on outside zone runs and consistent display of patience in the backfield is impressive. Similar to Brooks, Irving's rapid change of pace creates separation, and he excels when operating in open space.

Irving's value extends to his role as a receiver, showcasing remarkable abilities with his hands and the capacity to make plays downfield. While his college route tree was relatively straightforward, there's an expectation for him to diversify his skill set, possibly lining up more consistently outside.
