Jermaine Burton, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
It was rumored Burton would fall in the draft due to reported character concerns. Ultimately, he landed with the Bengals in Round 3. Burton was arguably the next-best receiver in this class after the top three options.

Tee Higgins' future with the Bengals is murky at best. He's currently under the franchise tag. Reportedly, there have been no talks about a contract extension. Higgins has also requested a trade. It’s very possible that he is not on the roster in 2025. That would leave Burton as Joe Burrow’s No. 2 option. Should Higgins miss time this season, that would also leave Burton as the WR2. He’s talented enough to make a difference on fantasy rosters if he’s given a chance.
Luke McCaffrey, WR, Washington Commanders
McCaffrey snuck into Day 2 of the draft as the last player selected in Round 3. He needs to refine his overall route running, but he has enough skills in the meantime to work as an effective slot receiver. Athleticism runs in the family. His father, Ed McCaffrey, and brother, Christian McCaffrey, both have experience playing in the league and will be great resources. McCaffrey can eventually emerge as a PPR specialist in a few years if he can further hone his craft.

Dylan Laube, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
Although he was only taken in the sixth round, Laube found a nice home with the Raiders. He is a sneaky between-the-tackles runner and is arguably the best pass-catching back in this class. Raiders starter Zamir White doesn’t profile as much of a pass- catcher. Alexander Mattison has never really been used in this role, either.
There’s an opportunity for Laube to emerge as a passing downs specialist and provide a nice PPR floor for owners. If injuries strike the depth chart, we might get to see what he’s fully capable of doing.
Theo Johnson, TE, New York Giants
Darren Waller has reportedly been mulling retirement for weeks now. Should he decide to hang up the cleats, Johnson might be able to capitalize. He tested incredibly well at the NFL Combine and is very athletic for the position. He’s a raw player, but if he can develop fast enough, there is a path for playing time. This offense lacks pass-catchers behind Malik Nabers. Johnson could emerge as a nice option in tight end premium formats.
