The Los Angeles Rams made a blockbuster move two years ago, trading multiple first-round draft picks and Jared Goff to the Detroit Lions for Matthew Stafford. Los Angeles won the Super Bowl in Stafford’s first year with the team.
However, things didn’t go quite as well in 2022. They ended the year with a 5-12 record and finished third in the NFC West division. The Rams were embarrassed on opening night, losing 31-10 to the Buffalo Bills.
Los Angeles won three of their next five games to get to 3-3 on the year. Unfortunately, the injuries piled up, and the Rams lost six straight games and nine of their final 11 contests.

What Are The Los Angeles Rams Biggest Needs On Offense?
Unfortunately, Los Angeles won’t have a first-round draft pick this year. Their sixth overall pick belongs to the Lions as part of the Stafford trade. However, the Rams have an early second-round pick and two third-round selections in the 2023 NFL Draft.
While Cooper Kupp remains arguably the top wide receiver in the NFL, the team has limited options behind him on the depth chart. The Rams have traded away Robert Woods and Allen Robinson over the past year for limited draft capital.
Therefore, they need to add a wide receiver with one of their Day 2 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. One potential target is Cedric Tillman. The former Volunteer had 101 receptions for 1,498 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns over the past two years. More importantly, Los Angeles recently had a pre-draft visit with Tillman.
What Are The Los Angeles Rams Biggest Needs On Defense?
The Rams will have a strong defense when Aaron Donald is healthy. However, they have several holes on defense. Los Angeles traded Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins this offseason for Hunter Long and a third-round draft pick. Their cornerback unit is lackluster at best.
One potential draft target is Emmanuel Forbes. The former Mississippi State star had 14 career interceptions, including six last season. Furthermore, he returned six of his 14 career interceptions for a touchdown.
With a division full of star wide receivers, the Rams must improve their cornerback unit in the draft.
