Jacoby Ellsbury's forgettable 2015 campaign can undoubtedly be split into two narratives; good and bad. Ellsbury's season began promising,as he batted .321 in April and then .328 in May, but then missed nearly two months after tweaking his knee at the end of the month. Upon returning from injury in the middle of July, the Yankees' $150 million dollar outfielder plummeted from grace, and batted just .224. Ellsbury still cracks the top 100 in most fantasy rankings despite finishing last season ranked in the 200's. He's the Yankees top fantasy option, and appears to be healthy. Part of Ellsbury's offseason workout regiment was showcased in a video recently posted on Twitter, consisting of him holding two 45 lbs dumbbells, wearing a 35 lbs vest, hopping once before dropping the weights, and leaping effortlessly onto a five foot platform. If that tweet is indicative of anything, it's that Ellsbury is working efficiently towards putting 2015 behind him, and making 2016 the year he finally breaks out in pinstripes. A constant threat on the base-paths (when healthy), and leading off on an aging, yet still powerful Yankees lineup, Ellsbury should be snagged as a second or third outfielder in the middle rounds of your draft.
