BALLER MOVE: Target ~60 Overall in Standard Leagues, Top Five in Dynasty Leagues
CURRENT ADP: 88 STD, 83 PPR
ANALYSIS: The combination of his ability to make spectacular catches and his football IQ makes rookie Kevin White a feared player right away, but he still has a lot of room to grow.
New Bears head coach John Fox does not have a great track record of using offensive rookies. Montee Ball, Cody Latimer, Brandon Lafell and DeAngelo Williams were all under-used in their respective first years. However, Kevin White -- an every down player and a red zone threat - is one of the best offensive players Fox has ever drafted.
White has more to offer than just athleticism and deep ball skills, so there’s already a framework for a very good player here. He’s fantastic on curls and hitches, and his speed, length and size make post routes easy for him to win. His height, hand extension and ability to box out opponents make him a great potential red zone target, as well. His versatility and blocking skills could help him see the field early.
Still, White's real value comes from his long-term potential. His ADP in dynasty leagues sits at 1.02, the highest for any wide receiver. White's ceiling projects a very successful career, especially as he perfects some of the techniques he already has. It might not be long before we hear White's name in the #1 WR conversation.
