BALLER MOVE: Target in 3rd Round as High-End QB1
CURRENT ADP: 37 STD, 58 PPR
ANALYSIS: The Seattle Seahawks managed to keep Marshawn Lynch and trade for Jimmy Graham, two moves that will help quarterback Russell Wilson's draft stock for 2015.
A massive red zone threat, Graham is the most talented pass-catcher Wilson has ever played with. While Graham’s 37 red zone touchdowns over the last four seasons probably isn’t repeatable in Seattle, a decent enough chunk of that will exist within the Wilson to Graham connection.
Wilson finished as a top-five fantasy QB in most formats last year, and with the moves Seattle has made this offseason, that’s absolutely the way he should be drafted for 2015. The Drew Brees era of fantasy dominance is over. Matthew Stafford and Cam Newton have shown their inconsistencies. Wilson is coming off of the best fantasy year of his career and just acquired the kind of dominant pass-catcher to whom he has never had the luxury of throwing the football.
Given the events of this offseason, I would draft Russell Wilson in the third round of a standard league.
