BALLER MOVE: Target as 3B1 in Middle Rounds
ANALYSIS: Nolan Arenado more than realized his potential in 2014, but it may have gone unnoticed. Despite a broken finger, he still finished his sophomore campaign with 18 HR and a respectable .287/.328/.500 slash line. In a full season, Arenado should hit at least 25 HR. The Rockies' offense is among the best in baseball, especially when at Coors Field, and Arenado could fit nicely in the five-spot, allowing for plenty of RBI opportunities.
I believe 2015 will be where he breaks out as one of the game’s best. A potent combination of power and average along with being deeply entrenched in a high-powered offense should yield a great fantasy season for lucky owners. According to ESPN, he’s projected to be the 11th third baseman off the board and the 96th overall player. Don’t miss the chance for a potential top-20 player in the eighth or ninth round.
