ANALYSIS: If you saw anything regarding the Week 1 Titans on social media, it was probably how Tyjae Spears out-snapped Derrick Henry, 34 to 30. Henry had 15 carries to Spears’ three, but Spears had four targets to Henry’s three with double the number of routes run.
Spears was a poorly thrown Ryan Tannehill pass away from potentially scoring a long receiving touchdown on a wheel route. He would've been a must-add this week if that pass connected.
Henry stayed fresh and still produced 119 total yards to Spears’ 28, but we weren’t expecting such strong usage for Spears this early. The usage likely tilts more toward Henry in the coming weeks, but Tennessee is willing to run this split. Act accordingly.
