After going undrafted over the summer, Bigsby emerged in Week 4 with seven rushes for 90 yards and would finish with 100-plus yards rushing in Weeks 5 and 7, leading many across the fantasy landscape to be worried about the presumed starting running back Travis Etienne.

Bigsby has quietly become a key piece in the Jaguars' backfield, stepping up in the wake of Etienne’s injury-riddled season. Etienne’s managed just 70 rushes for 298 yards (4.3 yards per carry) with two touchdowns, along with 19 receptions for 96 yards—a far cry from what fantasy managers hoped for given his explosive potential.
Unfortunately, a recurring ankle issue has kept Bigsby off the field right as he was starting to emerge as the Jaguars' lead back, and everything looks very muddied right now.
Tank Bigsby, Travis Etienne and D’Ernest Johnson all split snaps last week, with Bigsby seeing the largest share (51.8%).
They eat into each other too much to trust any of them, and they also face the Vikings.

Who Should I Pickup in Week 11 Fantasy Football?
Bigsby has done more than just fill in; he’s forced a near 50-50 backfield split, cutting significantly into Etienne’s opportunities. This shift has kept Etienne’s fantasy production low, with only two Top 20 finishes to show for it—a stark contrast to the consistent value he provided last season.
Bigsby’s reliable play has kept him on the field and in the mix, showing the Jaguars may not need to lean so heavily on Etienne going forward.

At this point, Bigsby has positioned himself as the more reliable option in Jacksonville’s backfield, but with the Jaguars' bye in Week 12, you might not be afforded the luxury of stashing him if you need an immediate starter.
Bottom line: Bigsby’s emergence has dimmed Etienne’s fantasy outlook in what’s been a disappointing season for Jacksonville all around. If you have the bench space, holding onto either is fine, but it’s Bigsby who’s currently offering the more stable option in this backfield.
