Walker Buehler Strikes Out Eight Over Seven Innings
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler helped lead the team to a 6-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday, though he was left with a no-decision on the day. Buehler pitched seven innings and allowed four hits, one walk and four earned runs while striking out eight. He was a victim of the long ball, yielding three home runs in the game. It was the first time this year that he'd allowed more than just one home run in a game. Buehler now has a 3.45 ERA and 0.90 WHIP over seven starts this year. Despite his strong pitching, he's only earned one win on the year. His next start will be against the Miami Marlins on Sunday.
