Trey Sermon Projected To Make 53-Man Roster
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Trey Sermon has reportedly been receiving first-team reps in training camp. Sermon is entering his second season in Philly after he was claimed off waivers by the team last season. The San Francisco 49ers had fairly lofty expectations for Sermon after they selected him in the third-round of the 2021 draft. However, Sermon struggled heavily, so the team decided to let him go. The 24-year-old is stuck in a crowded running back room in Philly. It sounds like he's currently in a positional battle with Boston Scott. Zach Berman of The Athletic believes that Sermon will make the roster over Scott. Possibly, Sermon is worth a stash in dynasty leagues, but won't be on the radar in redraft formats.
