4 years agoThe San Diego Padres have activated Trent Grisham (hamstring) from the injured list. He is leading off and playing center field in Friday's game against Kohei Arihara and the Texas Rangers. Grisham suffered a hamstring strain in mid-March and has been out ever since. In his absence, Jake Cronenworth has been the team's primary leadoff hitter while Tommy Pham has been the team's primary center fielder. For Friday's game, Cronenworth has been bumped down to sixth in the order. Grisham was a revelation for the team last year as he hit ten home runs and eight doubles and tallied 42 runs and 10 stolen bases over 59 games.
