Travis d'Arnaud On Schedule For Return
2 years agoAccording to Atlanta Braves skipper Brian Snitker, catcher Travis d'Arnaud (head) is "making progress" and "on schedule" to return. The 34-year-old has been on seven-day concussion injured list for a week after his involvement in home plate collision during a meeting with the San Diego Padres. He's posted a .333/.333/.424 slash line with 11 hits and five RBI in 31 plate appearances this season, so the team hopes to get him back in the mix sooner rather than later. But until d'Arnaud is 100%, Sean Murphy is expected to remain behind the dish. However, while Murphy can be productive, he's not a consistent fantasy option.
