UFC veteran Serghei Spivac suffered a first-round TKO loss to Jailton Almeida on the main card of UFC 311 on Saturday. Spivac landed a takedown early into the first round and landed some hard punches as well. Almeida was able to reverse the position and land on top. Spivac found a way to get up but was hurt standing up by Almeida's combination and was forced to cover up to defend himself. Almeida then landed brutal ground and pound from back control that forced referee Jason Herzog to stop the contest. In 4:53 of action, Spivac landed a takedown and 15 significant strikes. --Alen Kurbasic
