4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Sam Hilliard is starting in center field and batting seventh on Sunday as the team faces Anthony DeSclafani and the San Francisco Giants. Hilliard came on as a pinch-hitter in each of the team's last two games, but this will be his first time in the starting lineup since Thursday. Hilliard only has 19 plate appearances on the year and is slashing .176/.263/.647. He's hit two home runs and has four RBI and four runs. Hilliard could be a great source of power if he can manage to get more consistent playing time, but he has some pretty major strikeout concerns.
