11 months agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov has landed in the concussion protocol following his exit from Thursday's contest against the Ducks. He was injured in the second period when Anaheim forward Isac Lundestrom skated into him. Kochetkov made his 21st start of the campaign on Thursday. He's posted an 11-7-3 record while registering a 2.58 goals-against average with a .900 save percentage and one shutout. With Frederik Andersen (blood clots) already a long-term absentee, the Hurricanes will have to rely on Antti Raanta going forward.
