Pheonix Copley Done For Season Following Knee Surgery
1 year agoLos Angeles Kings goaltender Pheonix Copley (knee) has undergone successful ACL surgery and won't play again until next season. He was hurt in practice about a month ago and was initially slated to be game-ready again in three weeks, but Copley, unfortunately, won't be able to return in 2023-24. He finished the campaign with a 4-1-2 record, a 3.16 goals-against average, a .870 save percentage, and one shutout. Cam Talbot will continue to serve as the No. 1 option in L.A., although David Rittich has also picked up a few starts lately. The Kings goalies have brought back great value for fantasy managers this season, as the team allows a league-low 2.37 goals per game.
