Panthers Sign Jacob Eason To Practice Squad
2 years agoThe Carolina Panthers signed former Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Jacob Eason to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to a source. Eason became available after the Seahawks cut him on roster cutdown day on Tuesday. The 24-year-old signal-caller was originally a fourth-round selection by the Colts in 2020. He played in just one game last year and went 2-for-5 for 25 yards and one interception. Eason will provide the Panthers with more quarterback depth in 2022 behind Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and P.J. Walker.
