1 year agoMinnesota Vikings running back Myles Gaskin has been released by the organization on Friday. However, the 26-year-old is expected to rejoin the team as part of the squad practice. After that, Gaskin is expected to be elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for the Week 1 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It appears the team is doing this in order to avoid guaranteeing Gaskin's salary. Gaskin is set to be the third back behind Alexander Mattison and Ty Chandler to begin the season.
