Michael Mayer To The Bengals?
2 years agoAccording to Notre Dame radio voice Paul Burmeister, tight end Michael Mayer would be a "great addition" to the Bengals. The 21-year-old had a solid career with the Fighting Irish, amassing 180 catches for 2,099 yards and 18 touchdowns in 36 career games. Mayer is projected to be taken late in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. However, with Cincinnati needing a true starting tight end, Mayer has a chance to make an immediate impact in a potent Bengals offense. It's worth noting he's also been linked to the Dallas Cowboys. Either way, the All-American could thrive catching passes from Joe Burrow or Dak Prescott, although his fantasy outlook may be brighter if he ends up in Cincinnati.
