Matthew Boyd Allows One Run Over 6 1/3 Innings
4 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Matthew Boyd recorded his second-straight quality start on Tuesday against the Houston Astros. Boyd pitched 6 1/3 innings and allowed six hits, one walk and one earned run while striking out four. He earned the win and improved to 2-1 on the year. He has a 1.86 ERA over 19 innings. Boyd looks nothing like his 2020 self right now. Last year, he had a 6.71 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 12 starts. Boyd needs to be rostered in all fantasy leagues while he is pitching as well as he is right now. His next start will be on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics.
