Marcus Stroman To Start Game 2 Of Tuesday's Doubleheader
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman wasn't happy about starting Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins during the rain. He only made it nine pitches into the game before it was suspended due to weather and eventually postponed. The Mets also had their game on Monday postponed and now have a doubleheader with the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. Stroman has been named the starter of the second game of the doubleheader. He will go up against Phillies ace Aaron Nola. Stroman was solid in his only "real" start of the year, going six innings and allowing three hits, two walks and one earned run.
