Kyrie Irving Declines Exit Interview With Dallas Media
2 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving declined to do an exit interview with the media on Sunday. After the 31-year-old was traded by Brooklyn, he indicated that he wanted to remain in Dallas. However, the latest development will open the door for speculation surrounding his future with the team moving ahead. Irving appeared in 20 games for the Mavericks in 2022-23, averaging 27.0 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. He also shot 39.2% from behind the arc and made a career-high 94.7% of his free throws. Nevertheless, it will be an interesting summer for the veteran, who will be a free agent in July. Although his talent has never been in question, his inability to stay healthy and away from off-the-court drama will continue to negatively impact his fantasy stock.
