1 year agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Kenley Jansen (illness) has been placed on the COVID-19 list on Wednesday. The veteran reliever was pulled from Tuesday's relief appearance due to fatigue and illness symptoms. Now, Jansen has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be sidelined for the next week. His absence leaves the Red Sox shorthanded in the bullpen for the time being. The assumption is that Chris Martin and John Schreiber will be the favorites in the ninth inning with Jansen sidelined.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
