2 years agoAccording to New York Mets manager Buck Showalter, starting pitcher Justin Verlander (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a few more bullpen sessions before facing live batters. If everything goes smoothly, the 40-year-old will be ready to return. Verlander has been on the shelf with a right teres major strain since the beginning of the season.
