Josh Jung Expected To Miss Time
1 year agoTexas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung (thumb) was forced to exit early during Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins. The 25-year-old was removed from the contest after suffering a thumb injury while fielding a ground ball. Jung underwent x-rays, which revealed a left thumb fracture. It's unclear how long Jung will be sidelined, but he'll almost certainly be placed on the injured list. The young slugger could miss the rest of the regular season, assuming he needs surgery. Fantasy managers will have to wait until the team gives more information on his status.
