Jorge Soler Doubles, Scores Run On Thursday
4 years agoKansas City Royals designated hitter Jorge Soler recorded his first multi-hit game since Opening Day on Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Soler went 2-for-4 in the game. He hit his first double of the year and scored a run. Soler is off to a rough start to the 2021 season. Through 11 games, he's slashing .171/.310/.286 with just one home run and four RBI. He's recorded just one barrel over 17 batted balls. Soler should come around at some point and provide a multitude of home runs, but he's a streaky hitter and his designated hitter-only eligibility makes things tough on fantasy managers. He can be dropped or left on waivers in shallow leagues, but deep league and AL-only league managers should remain patient.
