Jordan Romano Placed On Injured List With Ulnar Neuritis
4 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays have placed relief pitcher Jordan Romano (arm) on the 10-day injured list with right ulnar neuritis. Romano had reportedly felt off after Tuesday's outing against the New York Yankees and he hadn't gotten any better by Thursday, leading to the move to the injured list. Joel Payamps was called back up to the club in a corresponding move. Romano joins fellow relief pitcher Julian Merryweather (oblique) on the injured list. Romano and Merryweather were the top two save candidates on the team going into this week. With both players now sidelined, Rafael Dolis looks to be in good position to earn some saves over the next week or two. Dolis should be added in all leagues in which saves are scarce.
