Jonathan Schoop Hits His Second Home Run On Tuesday
4 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop helped the team defeat the Chicago White Sox 5-2 on Tuesday. Schoop went 1-for-4 in the game with a solo home run and two strikeouts. It was his second home run of the year. Schoop is off to a cold start to the 2021 season. Through 21 games, he's slashing just .192/.218/.274. His two home runs are his only two extra-base hits on the year. Schoop is someone who should have value in deep leagues and AL-only leagues once he can get going, particularly due to his eligibility at second base, one of the weakest positions in fantasy. However, he can be left on the waiver wire in all leagues while he's performing this poorly at the plate.
