Joey Logano Has Good Upside at Indianapolis
3 months agoJoey Logano didn't make the final round of qualifying for the Brickyard 400 on Saturday, and the No. 22 Ford will roll off the grid from 12th when the race goes green on Sunday, but that doesn't mean the Team Penske driver won't be a contender. Historically, Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been a great track for Logano, as he has an average finish of 6.4 average finish at the track over the last eight races and no result worse than 13th. Although Logano's No. 22 Ford was middle-of-the-road in practice (just 14th-best in ten-lap average), his fifth-place run at Pocono last weekend is encouraging, as those two tracks compare very nicely to one another. At $8,600 on DraftKings, Logano is worth having some exposure to, as he definitely has solid top-10 finishing upside and could end up even higher depending on how the race plays out.
