2 years agoAccording to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers could have an update on Joel Embiid on Thursday. "I think in a day or the next day, he'll have a bigger meeting with the doctors, and we'll go from there," said head coach Doc Rivers while speaking to the media. "I really don't have any new information." The six-time All-Star suffered a sprained LCL in Game 3 of the postseason series versus the Brooklyn Nets and didn't suit up for Game 4. With the Hawks and Celtics still battling in their playoff series, Embiid will continue rest, increasing his chances of returning to the floor.
