Greg Holland Hit Hard On Wednesday
4 years agoKansas City Royals relief pitcher Greg Holland had a rough outing on Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians. Holland entered the game in the eighth inning when the game was tied 2-2. He was only able to record one out as he allowed a walk and three hits, including a two-run Jose Ramirez home run. He was tagged with the loss as the Royals fell 4-2. Holland is presumed to be the frontrunner for saves for the Royals. However, he's yet to record a save this year. Jesse Hahn and Wade Davis are the only Royals with saves as they have one each. This was Holland's second appearance so far this year. In his first, he allowed one unearned run over 2/3 of an inning. In deep leagues where saves are scarce, Holland should still be rostered, though the past week has been clear indication that it's not going to be a smooth ride.
