2 months agoDespite a favorable matchup against the Rams, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch could not replicate his solid Week 1 performance in Week 2. His targets dropped significantly, from eight in Week 1 to just two in Week 2. The good news for fantasy managers is that this was likely due to the game script, as the Cardinals built an early lead and leaned on James Conner and the run game, coasting to a 41-10 victory over the Rams. Dortch will look to bounce back against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. In Week 3 against the Lions, Dortch faces another favorable matchup against slot cornerback Amik Robertson, who has been burned by Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Chris Godwin in back-to-back weeks. This game is expected to be more competitive, meaning the Cardinals are less likely to shift to a run-heavy approach as early as they did in Week 2.
