Giannis Antetokounmpo Not Expected To Play On Sunday
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (quadriceps) is not expected to suit up for Sunday's matinee with the visiting Phoenix Suns. He exited Friday's matchup against Miami in the first quarter after injuring his right knee and did not return. However, his official injury designation for this one is a right quad contusion. Regardless, the Multi-time MVP has been banged up all season, so he may be out longer than one game, meaning he won't play in Brooklyn on Tuesday night. Nevertheless, until Antetokounmpo is available, Bobby Portis will likely take his place in the lineup. Portis has averaged 16.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, and shot 38.9% from deep in 14 starts this season, making him a must-start in all formats. At the same time, he'll also be a popular DFS option on Sunday.
