1 year agoToronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet has officially declined his $22.8 million player option for the 2023-24 season. This was expected as Vanvleet will now become an unrestricted free agent. He should have a strong free agent market after the season he put together. Vanvleet averaged 19.3 points, 1.8 steals, and a career-high 7.8 assists per game this past season. He has been a reliable contributor over the last four seasons in Toronto. The 29-year-old should be able to get himself a significant payday this offseason.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
