Enoli Paredes Leaves Thursday's Game With Side Injury
4 years agoHouston Astros relief pitcher Enoli Paredes (side) was taken out of Thursday's game due to a side injury. Paredes entered the game in the eighth inning, gave up two walks and then showed some discomfort while facing the third batter. Astros manager Dusty Baker sent the training staff out and Paredes was removed from the game. He is scheduled to be looked at further on Friday morning. Thursday was Paredes' third appearance of the year. He's pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed two hits, six walks and no runs while striking out two. He's rather low on the reliever hierarchy for the team and his high walk rate should keep him there.
