Domantas Sabonis Has Thumb Re-Evaluated On Monday
2 years agoSacramento Kings forward/center Domantas Sabonis (thumb) had an appointment on Monday to re-evaluate the condition of his injured right thumb. The results haven't been made public. The All-Star sustained an avulsion fracture in December but avoided going under the knife. The 26-year-old didn't seem bothered by the ailment, playing 79 regular season games and averaging 19.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. Sabonis would prefer not to have surgery. However, he'll remain a first-round option in all fantasy formats, especially since there hasn't been anything to suggest he won't be ready to begin the 2023-24 campaign.
