Delon Wright Traded To Kings For Cory Joseph And Two Picks
4 years agoThe Detroit Pistons have traded guard Delon Wright to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Cory Joseph and two second-round picks. The picks are a 2021 second-rounder that the Kings previously acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers and the Kings' own 2024 second-round pick. Wright has had a solid season, averaging 10.4 points, 5.0 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game while playing around 30 minutes per game. He'll bolster the Kings' depth at guard behind De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield and rookie Tyrese Haliburton. Joseph has averaged just 6.6 points per game this year while playing around 20 minutes per contest. The Pistons have mixed up their guard rotation a lot this year, but Joseph has a good chance to continue seeing around 20 minutes per game.
