De'Anthony Melton Has Solid Night From The Bench
2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard De'Anthony Melton played well in the Game 1 postseason win over Boston. Although Doc Rivers ran his starting lineup into the ground, with each of the five logging at least 36 minutes, Melton still got some action. He had an impressive showing, amassing 17 points off 6-for-10 shooting from the field and 5-for-6 shooting from deep while adding two blocks in 25 minutes. Of course, the 24-year-old received additional opportunities on the offensive end with Joel Embiid (knee) out of the lineup. However, if Embiid is ruled out ahead of Game 2 on Wednesday, Melton should remain a viable value option for DFS managers.
