4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is in the midst of a bit of a cold streak lately. The Dodgers have dropped 12 of their last 16 games and their offense has been a bit sluggish over the 16-game stretch. Seager has just one extra-base hit, a triple, over his last seven games. He's gone 3-for-14 with four strikeouts over four games so far in May. On the year, he is slashing .250/.346/.440 with four home runs, six doubles, 18 RBI and 16 runs over 29 games. Seager's underlying stats this year all look solid, albeit significantly less eye-popping than his elite 2020 marks. He has a 9.7% barrel rate and a 49.5% hard-hit rate so far this year.
