Christian Walker Lifted From Tuesday's Game After Tweaking Side
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker (side) was lifted from Tuesday's game against the Miami Marlins after tweaking his side. The injury was related to the side injury that forced him to miss three weeks of action recently. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said that Walker's removal on Tuesday was precautionary. Walker was replaced in the game by Tim Locastro, who took over in center field while Pavin Smith shifted to first base. If Walker is unable to go on Wednesday, Locastro would likely join the starting lineup.
