4 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Chris Archer (undisclosed) left Saturday's game in the middle of the third inning with an apparent injury. He walked off the mound with the team's athletic trainer and was replaced in the game by Andrew Kittredge. The details of the injury are yet to be revealed. This was Archer's first start of the year and he was off to a solid start. His day ended after pitching 2 1/3 innings and allowing three hits, no walks and no runs while striking out four.
