Cesar Almeida picked up a first-round knockout victory over Abdul Razak Alhassan on the main card of UFC Vegas 101. Midway through the first round Almeida was dropped by a right hand from Alhassan, but he managed to recover. Shortly after, Almeida caught Alhassan with a perfectly placed left hook that knocked Alhassan out cold. In 4:16 of action, Almeida landed 20 significant strikes. With the win, Almeida is now 7-1 as a pro and 3-1 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
