2 years agoThe Texans selected Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The 21-year-old had a successful career as a Buckeye, appearing in 28 games and throwing for 7,775 yards, 81 touchdowns, and 12 picks. That said, Stroud is a talented passer, whether inside or outside the pocket. But he must improve under pressure, especially against bigger and faster professional football players. Nevertheless, with Houston in rebuilding mode, Stroud could struggle early.
