C.J. Cron Absent From Sunday's Starting Lineup
4 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Anthony DeSclafani and the San Francisco Giants. Josh Fuentes is getting the start at first base and batting sixth. Cron is off to a slow start to the season. Over 32 plate appearances, he's slashing .148/.281/.222. He's yet to hit his first home run and he has only one RBI. Cron became a trendy sleeper in fantasy drafts after he won the Rockies' starting first base job. Cron has been a reliable source of power for fantasy managers for multiple years now and should be able to reach around 30 or more home runs if he can stay healthy and keep his starting job. Fantasy managers should stay patient with Cron for now.
