Bryce Young Goes No. 1 Overall To Carolina
2 years agoThe Panthers selected Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with the first pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. The 21-year-old had a stellar collegiate career, with a resume that includes a national championship and Heisman Trophy, among others. He played 34 games for the Crimson Tide, throwing for 8,356 yards, 80 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions while completing 65.8% of his attempts. Young also accounted for seven more scores on the run. Carolina is a rebuilding team. However, Carolina made moves this offseason to bolster the offense, including adding Adam Thielen, DJ Chark, Miles Sanders, and Hayden Hurst. There's a chance Young may start immediately for the Panthers. But he also could spend time learning from Andy Dalton. Of course, he'll be a top dynasty selection, but his lack of size is an issue, which raises durability concerns moving forward.
